Theatre West provides educational opportunities to the community from youth to professionals.
Company Positions are available in specialty areas of Direction, Musical Direction, Technical, and Management for theatre as well as for a variety of acting roles in each season’s summer productions.

Theatre West writes and presents an original musical performed by 10-12 high school youth for 17 Nebraska Panhandle Libraries and several additional community venues. Preparation and productions for this tour take place during the month of June.

High school students ages 15–18 can take part in an Intern Shadow program. Areas within the program include: Production Assistance, Office Assistance, House Management Assistance, and Training

Theatre Opportunity For Youth (TOFY) Camp is a 2-week theatre camp for children ages 8–15 who audition for, rehearse, and perform a 60-minute children’s musical production. Auditions and registration are held in April.
